GoHireDD ("we", "us") is a career companion that helps you prepare ATS-friendly CVs and tailored cover letters from the job adverts and career details you share. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use GoHireDD, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Account details: your name, surname, and password when you create an account.

Career content: job adverts you paste, CVs you upload (PDF), career history, education, skills, and chat conversations you have with the assistant.

Billing information: your subscription plan and payment status. Card details are processed by our payment provider and are never seen or stored by GoHireDD.

Usage information: monthly prompt counts used to enforce plan limits.

To provide the service: analysing job adverts, generating CVs and cover letters, and saving your chat history so you can return to it.

To manage your subscription, enforce plan limits, and process payments through our payment provider.

To keep your account secure and prevent misuse. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We share data only with the service providers needed to run GoHireDD: our cloud backend (data storage and sign-in), our payment provider (billing), and the model provider that generates document drafts. Each provider processes data only to deliver the service.

Your career content and chat history are kept while your account is active so you can access them. You may delete conversations at any time. When a subscription is cancelled, account data may be retained for a limited period for billing records, then deleted.

Access to your data is protected by authentication and row-level access controls so only you can read your records. Passwords are stored hashed. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can delete conversations in the app, and request full account deletion by contacting us. South African users have rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), including the right to complain to the Information Regulator.
